Bait Forms & Suitable Environments (different carriers for different environments)
- Raw Grain (paddy rice / wheat / corn): Suitable for large-area rodent control in farmlands, pastures, granaries, and open fields. Naturally palatable, economical for bulk use; however, prone to moisture and mildew — requires frequent inspection and replenishment.
- Pellets: Suitable for dry indoor environments such as residences, warehouses, factories, and shops. Good palatability, quick to spread, and easy to dose by bait point; however, can cake when damp and are easily scattered by rodents.
- Wax Pills: Suitable for semi-humid areas such as wall holes, under shelves, and utility ducts. The wax shell protects against moisture and mildew; individual pills can be carried back to the burrow by rodents.
- Wax Blocks: Suitable for humid environments such as sewers, drains, under kitchen sinks, landfills, and outdoor areas in the rainy season. Water-resistant and weather-proof, hard to scatter or knock over, and can be secured in place; use with bait stations to prevent accidental ingestion.
Scope of Use Suitable for large-scale rodent control in residences, warehouses, food processing plants, ports, docks, airports, railways, livestock farms, farmlands, pastures, forests, and other areas.
Precautions
- Do not mix with other pesticides.
- Toxic to birds and aquatic organisms. During application, prevent contact with birds, poultry, and livestock; keep away from aquaculture areas.
- Wear gloves, a mask, and protective clothing when handling bait; wash hands thoroughly immediately after use.
- Place warning signs in treated areas and keep children, pets, and livestock away.
- Collect and burn or bury dead rodents and leftover bait to prevent secondary poisoning.
Antidote & First Aid In case of accidental ingestion, seek immediate medical attention. Antidote: Vitamin K1 (Phytomenadione BP), 10 mg orally, repeated 2–3 times per day at 8–12 hour intervals; maximum daily dose not exceeding 100 mg, for 10–15 days.
